I spent my summer testing a whole range of beauty products for you, and I was won over by their natural and made-in-France products, especially their multi-purpose balms with captivating scents!!
But before we tell you more about this miracle product, the founders of the brand Les Petits Prödiges, Camille and Clementine, tell us their beautiful story.
On a personal level, we were starting to pay more attention to our consumption habits, especially our beauty routine. Our cupboards were overflowing with cosmetics, yet our daily routine consisted of a maximum of five products... We were getting a little tired of feeling like victims of overconsumption marketing, where brands create consumer needs and demand, rather than the other way around, which defies all logic. So we wanted to adopt a more responsible lifestyle and a healthier hygiene and beauty routine, both environmentally (eco-friendly packaging) and in terms of health (natural ingredients). However, there was ONE criterion we didn't want to give up: the pleasure associated with our "old" beauty routine. And pleasure comes from pleasant textures, appealing scents, and attractive, user-friendly packaging. We were a bit taken aback when we realized that almost no brand on the French market (at the time – many have launched since) offered cosmetics that combined our three favorite criteria: Health, Ecology, AND PLEASURE. Deodorant in a jar that you apply with your hand under your armpit, toothpaste that you chew and that doesn't lather, solid shampoo as hard and dry as a rock that pulls out your hair and makes it even dirtier than before you showered: NO THANKS! These cosmetics may be good for your health and the planet, but they discourage anyone who isn't already 100% committed! It was from this observation that Les Petits Prödiges was born.
Indeed: Our target audience with Les Petits Prödiges is people who, like us back then, want to be more mindful of their consumption habits, but NOT at the expense of the pleasure associated with their beauty routine. And ultimately, this target audience represents the largest market share. With Les Petits Prödiges, our goal is therefore to revisit the essentials (only) of the hygiene/beauty routine in a "Green & Sexy" way: Green? Natural formulas, eco-friendly packaging, and local production. Sexy? Colorful designs, appealing scents and textures, and ease of use (e.g., our deodorant comes in 100% biodegradable cardboard packaging, so zero waste, but it's used like a classic roll-on without requiring the consumer to put their fingers in it!).The multi-purpose balm and the deodorant. All our products are made in a small laboratory in the South of France.
The Les Petits Prödiges balm was born from the crazy challenge of creating an all-in-one cosmetic to facilitate our beauty routine and declutter our toiletry bag.
Paraben-free, preservative-free and cruelty-free, the composition of this balm is completely natural, and includes only 7 ingredients:
Organic olive oil, beeswax, sweet almond oil, honey, royal jelly, arnica, and vitamin E.
It comes in several scents, such as the sunny monoi one, or the delicate scent of cotton flower, and many others, to satisfy everyone: women, men and children (from 3 years old), but also pregnant women & babies (only the balms without essential oils).
