Since I began my quest towards more conscious and eco-responsible consumption, there is one area in which I have encountered more difficulties: it is beauty... Indeed, more sustainable alternatives and French women are unusual when it comes to makeup!
But just because we want healthier and more environmentally friendly products doesn't mean we don't have the right to get dolled up!
I searched for a long time and then one day, I heard about the Clever Beauty brand. The story of Clever Beauty begins more than 5 years ago now when I first saw my mother pouring nail polishes into each other, thereby handling chemical solvents that are harmful to health. Her simple wish was to limit waste since she never managed to finish them.
It was through my mother's manipulations that this innovative idea came to me to create a non-toxic, anti-waste nail polish thanks to its "click and finish" cap which allows you to reach the bottom of the bottle and obtain 20%. additional product. At the time, I was still studying to be a cosmetic laboratory technician, so I started working on the project alongside my studies. It was quite natural that I wanted to develop varnishes with natural formulas. After 3 years of research and development and many great encounters, the first anti-waste nail polishes were created.

What is non-toxic varnish and how to choose it?
Conventional nail polishes as we are used to finding are composed of ingredients harmful to health (endocrine disruptors, allergenic agents, etc.), limiting their use in particular to pregnant, breastfeeding women or children.
I wanted to create a non-toxic nail polish , by removing all controversial substances, i.e. 10 harmful ingredients including phthalates, toluene, formaldehyde... 10 Free (without the 10 in English) therefore means that our varnishes are devoid of these 10 toxic ingredients!
